Some days ago I started a new project. I have been working on my own blog for photos: my photoblog. In this new blog I will push some of my favorite photos, took along the last years (since I have a DSLR camera).

They are photos without a singular theme: sunsets, landscapes, skies, animals, flowers, monuments, temples, cities …

One of the purposes of this Photoblog is to improve my skills on  “digital photographic technique” both with the camera like with Photoshop. But, why to use a photoblog if there are places like Flickr or Picasa? Read more…

The Restaurant Diversus is located a few steps from Paseo del Born, in the neighborhood of La Ribera, in the middle of two of the routes most frequented by walkers in Barcelona: the modernism route and the “Cathedral of the Sea” (book of Ildefonso Falcones) and very close to Parque de la Ciudadela.

We discovered it by chance some weekends ago, the truth is that the restaurant pleasantly surprised us both value for money, as the price itself. Read more…

Today, I start a new collection based on photographs of the icons used on the toilets in public and private places. In other words, symbols or images that indicate which room is for each person based on their gender or condition.

The reason is that while most sites use the symbols or classical texts, there are some others who call for my attention, because of the design, the work or the occurrences of the “designers” or owners. Read more…

Some days ago, in different blogs, I’m finding jokes in the spam comments, and some of them are funny. I find it curious that someone spends his time inserting jokes in the comments of any post.

These jokes are short, question and answer, based on word games or in occurrences. Some of them lose all their sense when translating into Spanish.

I’m going to start a compilation of this jokes, perhaps in 3 or 4 years I could edit the book of the image. Read more…
